8-Week Series on the Basics of Yoga
8-WEEK SERIES CLASSES ARE ABOUT 1 HOUR.

The next series begins: Sunday, March 1st at noon, Wednesday, March 4that 10:15am and 7:30pm, Friday, March 6th at 11:15am The 8-week basic series is the most effective way we know of to introduce people to Ashtanga yoga and vinyasa flow.
This series takes the fear out of beginning a yoga practice. When I began practicing yoga, I jumped right into a regular class on the schedule. It was so different than anything I had ever done but despite having no clue what I was doing, I absolutely loved it. The movement, the breathing, the vocabulary, and the mental focus was all new to me but I just followed along as best as I could. This is the “fake it until you make it” approach. Not everyone is as willing (or naive) as me to start in this way so we’ve developed a beginner series to introduce people slowly and effectively to the transformative practice of yoga. At Balance, we teach 2 styles: ashtanga and vinyasa. We will take the first 4 weeks to introduce you to the ashtanga method and the second 4 weeks will be geared towards the vinyasa style. Upon completion, students will be ready to move into regular classes on the schedule. Come with an open mind and a desire to learn something that will truly enhance your life. Your body will become stronger and more agile and your mind will be more calm and focused. We limit this series to 20. Pre-registration is recommended but not mandatory. Once a week: $125, twice: $180, and 3x’s: $235. Next series begins March 1st. Classes are on Sundays at 12:00p, Wednesdays at 10:15a, Wednesdays at 7:30, and Fridays at 11:15a.
Cost for all 8 weeks : $125 to attend 1 class per week, $180 to attend two classes per week and $235 to attend 3 classes a week . SERIES CLASS CARDS CAN ONLY BE USED AT SERIES CLASSES
Classes are approximately one hour long.
