6-Week Beginners Series on the Basics of Yoga
6-WEEK SERIES CLASSES ARE 1 HOUR.
WE RECOMMEND PRE-REGISTERING FOR THESE CLASSES
The next series begins: Sunday, February 21st at 11:45am and Tuesday, February 23rd at 9:30am and 7:30pm. The 6-week basic series is the most effective way we know of to introduce people to Ashtanga yoga.
This series takes the fear out of beginning a yoga practice. When I began practicing yoga, I jumped right into a regular class on the schedule. It was so different than anything I had ever done but despite having no clue what I was doing, I absolutely loved it. The movement, the breathing, the vocabulary, and the mental focus was all new to me but I just followed along as best as I could. This is the “fake it until you make it” approach. Not everyone is as willing (or naive) as me to start in this way so we’ve developed a beginner series to introduce people slowly and effectively to the transformative practice of yoga. At Balance, we teach 2 styles: ashtanga and vinyasa. We will cover the standing postures of the Ashtanga Primary Series each class. This will give you a solid foundation to move into regular classes on the schedule. Come with an open mind and a desire to learn something that will truly enhance your life. Your body will become stronger and more agile and your mind will be more calm and focused. We limit this series to 20. Pre-registration is recommended but not mandatory. 1 x week: $80, and 2 x week: $130. This price includes one free month of Mysore which will begin after the second week of the series. Next series begins February 21st and 23rd. Classes are on Sundays at 11:45am and Tuesdays at 9:30am and 7:30pm. If you have any questions please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cost for all 6 weeks : $80 to attend 1 class per week, and $130 to attend two classes per week. SERIES CLASS CARDS CAN ONLY BE USED AT SERIES CLASSES
