Mysore program
The backbone of the studio is the Mysore program. Mysore classes gives the student the opportunity to go deep within because they are moving with their breath within their individualized ashtanga sequence. Marsha is skilled at teaching the practice to all skill levels from the absolute beginner to the advanced. People are often intimidated to learn in this way because they have to memorize the sequence. Marsha will make this process fun and inspiring. There is nothing like learning something new and thriving in the process. Put yourself out there and trust your ability to learn something that enhances your life in every ways
The Mysore program began in 2007 as a way to share the transformational practice in a more effective way. Most were initially hesitant having only done led-style classes previously, but quickly fell in love with the way the practice becomes tailored to the individual. What’s interesting is the student becomes more independent in Mysore, but at the same time, a deep teacher/student relationship develops. Marsha has two decades of experience teaching and practicing ashtanga yoga and can help anyone elevate their practice. She has a deep passion to help people tap into their best selves. She is so grateful for her students and their sincere efforts to continually show up to learn and grow through the techniques of Ashtanga yoga. Join us!
